Pretty sure when I read “transparent, public search process”, I laughed so hard I startled the dog.

WOW!! Look at the pot calling the kettle black! Moss accusing other's of doing the same actions he has been doing all along. The incoming majority (and most level-headed) citizens did want an administrator hired by the OI, Lame Duck committee. Like always, OI ignored everybody, and their fascists action blew up in their face AGAIN. Moss and OI have nobody to blame but themselves. These candidates were wise enough to realize that Moss and OI were simply using them as pawns. Kudos to both candidates!!!

The active involvement of duly elected and non OI Republicans in this process encourages me. Perhaps as Moss' wasteful and unilateral efforts to gain power have been curtailed, we will see Congress take a similar role with President elect Trump.

It’s pretty laughable for Moss and the Ottawa Impact cabal to call anything “unfair, unethical and unjust”. Don’t those terms describe the Ottawa Impact agenda over the past two years?

And the stunt that Moss pulled with bullying the MSU Ext. office by holding the contract renewal over their head, which lead to Chris Klienjans actually losing his job is good governance, and not abuse of power. Cry to us about unfair Joe, you pathetic excuse for a BOC member or a human being. Who would do that to someone???? Moss is an absolute power monger, who is finding out fast where bullying gets you. Let that be an example to the Save Our Kids crowd.

John Teeples is a person of deep integrity. We know the kind of honesty & integrity of the OI commissioners over the past two years. This is beyond ridiculous. The slime with which Joe & his minions have operated is beyond disgusting. Perhaps Allison wants to be kept off all committees for the next four years. (Ha!) I'm sure they will not do that, but it would be appropriate.

Mr Tepples maybe altruistic however his suggestion to appoint an interm replacement seems ill advised, he’ll have the opportunity in 6 weeks

I hope Joe Moss is slammed by public pushback during the next BOC meetings for trying to fast track this hire during lame duck. Again, the taxpayers and citizens of Ottawa County will pick up the tab and bear the brunt of Joe’s arrogant and ignorant decisions. No candidate should have been put in this position. The overpriced and unqualified search firm should go.

UNBELIEVABLE.....but not really. These people have been spending MY tax dollars like drunken sailors. The fact that they offered $40,000 more and mentioned the severance pay indicates to me that they want to do as much damage as they can before they are shown the door. I still am not clear about the raises they voted themselves. Surely, trying to shove an administrator of this county down our throats in the last 2 sessions cannot be seen as anything but sinister.
