I have sent the Sentinel two letters to the editor about recent Supreme Court decisions over the past two months, and (contrary to my past experience when Sarah Leach was editor) neither letter has yet been published. Instead of reading lots of opinion pieces from local writers, I'm finding fewer pieces and more from USA TODAY writers and other non-local writers. I wonder whether editorial policy has changed regarding letters and other opinion pieces.
